Our Mission & Vision
Mission

We are called of God to be a contemporary Church that communicates the truths of Christ to a changing community. We will demonstrate Christ-likeness with the hope of inspiring Christian conversion and commitment to Christ’s Church. Our community of faith extends beyond color, class or culture with the Bible as our creed and “Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone”. (Ephesians 2:20, Matthew 28:19-20)

Vision

The St. John Church is called of God to be a ministry which serves in multiple locations and responds to an expanding community. The community is defined by our commitment to Christ beyond demographics.

The future of the Church (Ephesians 5:27)
The fellowship of the Church (Hebrews 10:25)
The support of the Church

About Baptism

Baptism is symbolic (John 1:29-34)

The way of salvation (1 John 1:8-9; Romans 10:9, John 3:16)

About Spiritual Gifts

Every believer has at least one gift and that these gifts are operating within the church (Romans 12:6-9; 1 Corinthians 12:1-31)
